Royal E. Caswell is Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Commercial Real Estate. He manages McKinley's 6.2 million square foot commercial real estate portfolio, including office buildings, retail shopping centers and historic redevelopments. Mr. Caswell has a proven track record in commercial leasing, new construction, redevelopment, asset repositioning and investment strategy. He completed his education with a BA in Government from University of Texas and a MPA in Policy Analysis from Indiana University. Mr. Caswell is also a member of the Board of Directors for Non-Profit Enterprises at Work (NEW).

Matthew D. Mason is the Senior Vice President, Commercial Client Services. Matt leads the company's Commercial Client Services division and has significant expertise in assisting institutional clients with distressed real estate and acting as a court-appointed Receiver. Matt employes a disciplined, value added business model to ensure successful results for our clients. He manages a team of five portfolio managers. Matt's daily duties include portfolio management and redevelopment, lease negotiation, and acquisition of new assets.  Matt is a member of the Executive Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan–Dearborn where he studied Political Science and History ('96, B.A.). After graduation from U-M, Matt attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he completed his legal education in two years while earning multiple Dean's List honors (’98, J.D.). He is a member of the Michigan State Bar and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Leonard Cercone, Jr., is Vice President, Director of Commercial Operations.  Mr. Cercone is responsible for the management oversight of a team of professionals located throughout the Midwest and Southeastern portions of the U.S., managing approximately 6.2 million square feet of office, retail and commercial space with a combined value of nearly $1 billion.  Mr. Cercone joined McKinley in 2007, following a successful career with a leading Chicago commercial real estate firm and is a member of McKinley's Executive Committee.  He has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Youngstown State University.  Mr. Cercone is a Certified Shopping Center Manager and is currently pursuing a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

April Davis is responsible for the oversight of the leasing efforts for McKinley's entire commercial portfolio, including lease negotiations, developing and maintaining relationships with McKinley's national broker network, and oversight of the commercial marketing efforts.  Ms. Davis has over 15 years of commercial real estate and petroleum industry experience, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Land Management from the University of Houston. She is a member of McKinley's Executive Committee, a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Michigan, a Registered Land Professional (RLP), a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Commercial Real Estate Women (C.R.E.W), a CCIM Candidate, and a Habitat for Humanity volunteer.

Dan Pasick is responsible for the leasing and marketing efforts for McKinley's entire Michigan Commercial Portfolio, consisting of approximately 800,000 square feet of retail, office, and industrial space.  His role includes lease negotiations, developing and maintaining McKinley's broker network, and oversight of regional marketing efforts.  Dan joined McKinley in 2004 as a Regional Leasing Associate for Residential Properties and transferred to Commercial Leasing in 2008.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a life-long Ann Arbor resident.  Dan's background includes numerous international volunteer experiences in various locations, including Thailand and Rwanda.  He also holds a position on the Development Committee of the Neutral Zone, a local teen center.  He is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Thomas Gritter is Assistant Vice President, Commercial Client Services. In his role, Tom leads a talented group of Commercial Portfolio Managers as well as oversees third-party client service operations. His other responsibilities include asset management and financial analysis as well as client relations. He is also a member of McKinley's Executive Committee. Tom is a graduate with high distinction from the BBA program of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan where he was also a 4-year standout on the Men's Soccer Team.  Tom is a member of the Urban Land Institute and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and has over five years of real estate development and management experience.

As Commercial Portfolio Manager, Ms. Barker oversees lender reporting, cash flow forecasting and valuation analysis for McKinley's commercial real estate portfolio and also serves as an Asset Manager for third party client services assets. Prior to McKinley, she worked at JPMorgan Chase for five years as a Commercial Underwriter. Ms. Barker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a Major in Finance from Eastern Michigan University. She is a CCIM Candidate and a Junior Achievement volunteer.

As Commercial Portfolio Manager, Mr. Shanabruch is responsible for asset management, client relations and financial analysis of several commercial client services assets. Thomas has been with McKinley for three years and during his tenure has had extensive experience in both Asset Management and distressed real estate with a focus on acquisitions and redevelopment. Most recently, he successfully completed the redevelopment of Aspen Chase, an 800 unit acquisition that was permanently refinanced in just 18 months. Thomas graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Suma Cum Laude from Beloit College with a BA in Economics, during which he was nominated as a Rhodes Scholar. Thomas earned an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, graduating as a Beta Gamma Sigma.

As a Commercial Portfolio Manager, Ms. Dritz is responsible for asset management, client relations, and adding value to a portfolio of distressed retail properties.  Lauren's other duties include researching commercial markets, preparing BOV's, and disposing of assets.  Prior to working at McKinley, Ms. Dritz was a retail broker in Chicago where she received the "Rookie of the Year" award by the Chicago Association of Realtors.  Lauren is a co-founder and Vice President of WREN, an educational networking group for young women in real estate.  She is currently in graduate school at University of Michigan where she is studying real estate development.  Ms. Dritz is also pursuing her CCIM designation.

As a Commercial Portfolio Manager, Mr. Rinzema specializes in the design and implementation of repositioning, work-out, and value-add strategies for distressed retail, office and industrial complexes. He is responsible for asset management, valuation, disposition, and client relations on a portfolio of third party properties. Prior to McKinley, Dan worked at Principal Financial Group (NYSE: PFG) for over five years as an investment officer within their commercial real estate department – Principal Real Estate Investors. During his tenure with Principal, Dan oversaw the origination, analysis, and/or management of over $3 billion in commercial real estate related assets. Dan graduated from Calvin College with a BA in Business and earned an MBA with distinction from the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Management. As a level III candidate, Dan is also pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Jeffrey Holman is an Assistant Vice President-Regional Property Manager for McKinley. He oversees the Michigan, Indiana and Illinois region's commercial real estate portfolio comprising 3 million square feet of retail shopping centers and office buildings with an asset value of approximately $150 million. Mr. Holman has over 20 years of property management experience and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Masters of Business Administration - Finance degree from Baker College. Mr. Holman is a board member of the Chelsea, Michigan Downtown Development Authority.

Scott Kenney is an Assistant Vice President-Regional Property Manager for McKinley's commercial real estate division. Mr. Kenney has over 20 years of experience in all facets of residential and commercial property management. Mr. Kenney currently has oversight responsibilities of our Ohio, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama and Florida regions.
