Senior Vice President and Managing Director
Royal E. Caswell, III (Trey), Senior Vice President &
Managing Director, is responsible for McKinley’s Institutional Real Estate
platform and Redevelopment/Development efforts company-wide.
Trey has over 20 years of experience in multifamily
residential and commercial property management, new construction,
redevelopment, asset repositioning, real estate finance, receiverships, and
investment strategy.
Trey has been particularly dedicated to several non-profit
efforts over his career. He served on
the Board of the NEW Center (Non-Profit Enterprise at Work) in Ann Arbor for
five years. In 2017, Trey completed an
extremely successful two year term as the Corporate Fundraising Co-Chair for
JDRF in Southeastern Michigan. Currently
he is working with the Youth Impact Program (YIP) to help develop disadvantaged
and at-risk adolescent boys.
Trey attended the University of Texas at Austin and
graduated with a BA in Government. He
completed his education with a Masters in Policy Analysis (MPA) from Indiana
University-Bloomington. Additionally,
Trey has a Certificate in Financial Leadership from University of Southern
California. In 2017, Trey earned the
prestigious Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) credential. CRE is a community of expertise, talent,
collegiality and camaraderie among practitioners recognized as leaders in real
estate and advisory services.
